Most Latter Day Saints (LDS) have heard the quote:

"The single most important thing that anyone can do in this world is to marry the right person, in the right place, by the right authority."

After everything that has happened these last few years, I have finally realized the truth in that statement, and because of that, that is what I'm looking for.

My "Perfect" Husband

The first issue of getting married, is (of course...) finding that one person you are supposed to be with time and all eternity. Many times throughout my life, I've been told that a list of what you are looking for in a husband is a good way to pull all of the "bad weeds out of the garden". Because of the fact that I've been told to do that task during many different times (I think I was about twelve the first time I was instructed to do this...), my list has changed many times. These few things are the most important points that have been included in all them.

(There are a few other things that I would like, but some of them can be negotiated. Some of them would be:
-A Returned Missionary (That isn't a nessicity to me because I understand that some guys, depending on financial problems or when they were introduced to the church, may not have had the chance to go on a misson. I can overlook that as long as he is worthy to hold the priesthood.)
-I pray almost that I find Southern boy, because I really don't think that the boys from up North, or out West, would be able to handle the hunting and fishing. And most importantly, I don't think they would be able to put up with my daddy.
-I wish that he would have a career that would be able to support a family. (I also have a huge wish that he would make enough that I would not have to have a full time job, so that I can stay home with our children in the future.)

Someone who:
-will open the door for me, whether it's from the car, or when we're going in or out of somewhere.

-will do the little things, like start my car on cold mornings, or leave notes for me around the house, or just send me a cute text saying that he is thinking of me.
-knows how to cook, and will cook for me, AND with me.

Happily Ever After Starts Here

"In true marriage there must be a union of minds as well as of hearts. Emotions must not wholly determine decisions, but the mind and the heart, strengthened by fasting and prayer and serious consideration, will give one a maximum chance of marital happiness."

There are some things in life that will never be gotten; therefore, they should be made as special as possible. One those things would be a wedding. When I get married, I plan on being married for time and all eternity (If that is a foreign concept to you, HERE is a small look inside of it.), so I want my wedding to be something that I can look back on twenty years, or fifty years, or even during eternity, and be happy with mostly everything. (I realize that there will be some misshaps, but I just pray that they are minor ones.)

Even though I am still pretty young, I want to have a little idea of somethings that I want for my wedding. PINTEREST has been a big influencer, and a huge help through everything too. :)
